埜口遥希選手についてのご報告

今でも信じられません。

8/16㈬、チーム所属の埜口遥希選手がインドネシアでの搬送先の病院で息を引き取りました。

つい10日程前に鈴鹿8耐で一緒に表彰台の栄光を勝ち取り、
今季ASB1000のチャンピオン獲りに向けてシーズン後半戦、
ARRCインドネシアラウンドへの激励をして彼を送り出したばかりでした。

まだ22歳、無限の可能性を秘めた次世代のホープとして
アジアをステップに、また彼が再び世界の舞台へと羽ばたいてくれることを期待していました。

そんな道半ばでのあまりにも早すぎる逝去は、とても無念で悔しく、残念でなりません。

レースでのアクシデント後、皆様から数多くの励ましのご連絡や
メッセージをいただきましたこと、チームを代表し、深く御礼申し上げます。

今でも信じたくない、認めたくない気持ちで、まったく気持ちの整理もできておりません。

しかし僕らがこのことを
理由にレースを欠場することは遥希もきっと望んでいないと思います。

強い気持ちをもって、
予定通り今週末の全日本ロードレース第5戦もてぎ2&4にチームとして出場致します。

なお、今後の対応につきましてはご遺族様のご意向に従いまして、
改めてご報告させていただきます。

I still can’t believe I have to make this announcement.

16.AUG in Indonesia, our team rider
Haruki Noguchi passed away at the hospital where he was taken to.

Just 10 days ago, we won the glory of the podium together at the Suzuka 8 Hours.

After that, I sent him to Indonesia with encouragement for the ARRC Indonesia roundin the second half of the ASB1000 season.

Still 22 years old, as a next-generation hope with infinite possibilities.

I was hoping that he would once again take to the world stage.

His untimely passing away in the middle of the road is extremely sad and disappointing.

After the accident in the race,
we received many messages of encouragement from everyone.
On behalf of the team, thank you all very much.

We still don’t want to believe it, don’t want to admit it,
haven’t been able to organize our feelings at all.

But I don’t think Haruki would want us to miss the race because of this.

We will participate in the 5th round of the All Japan Road Race Championship “Motegi 2 & 4” as scheduled.

In addition, we will follow the wishes of the bereaved family regarding the future measures.
